What is VILIM ball?
VILIM ball is a state-of-the-art non-invasive handheld medical therapeutic device providing neuromodulation therapy and able to temporarily reduce hand tremor. It is the first and the only one CE0197 marked medical class 2a therapeutic device for hand tremor reduction.
Therapy gives patients with Essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease a relief from the symptoms for the time they need to perform ordinary-life tasks, such as eating, writing, using computer, etc. It is a lightweight, quiet, easy-to-use device that you can carry with you and carry out your therapy in a place convenient to you.
The tremor reduction effect can vary widely and depend on the individual characteristics of each person. In practice, we have noticed that it can last from a few minutes to a few hours.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The working principles of the device are based on artificial intelligence (AI) controllable vibrational therapy, interrupting the neurological loop. It contains sensors that monitor the tremor level and personalize vibrational therapy to maximize the treatment effectiveness. Minimum amount of two weeks of everyday use is needed for system to fully personalize the therapy. It is important to emphasize that the device must be used by one person, because it can corrupt personalization data and the efficiency of the algorithm can be significantly reduced.

How to use it?
It is very simple and easy to use the VILIM ball, you just have to press the black button cap to start the therapy and after 10 minutes device stops automatically.
The proposed therapy time is 10 minutes per hand, three times daily, at intervals of 4 hours. To evaluate efficacy for each patient the device should be used for at least 14 days.
How to hold it?
Take the device firmly in your palm, aiming to maximize contact between the device’s surface and your skin. To start the therapy press the button cap using your fingers. Throughout the therapy session, ensure your hand remains relaxed that means avoid strictly tensing or twisting your wrist.
The VILIM ball can perform personalization not only when the tremor is clearly and visibly expressed. The device is intelligent enough to know what to do in case your hands are steady, because there are other relevant variables, e.g. grip strength. The distinguishing factor of the VILIM ball lies in its extensive understanding of tremors and its swift decision-making capabilities.

Charging VILIM ball
Using this device is very convenient, you don’t need to change the batteries, and they are rechargeable. As we mentioned, the VILIM ball is not only easy to use but also easy to charge. Just open the black button cap and attach the magnetic charger.
The device needs to be charged then you see:
1. A blinking blue light before you start the therapy
2. There is no light, then you turn on the device. This means that battery is empty and the device needs to be charged at least an hour.
