Vilimed is an innovation-driven medical technology company specializing in the development, certification, and commercialization of modern medical devices. The company develops solutions from research through to market launch, aiming to improve the quality of life for patients with neurological diseases.

The company has recently certified (CE 0197) the VILIM ball, a medical device designed to reduce hand tremors in people with essential tremor or Parkinson’s disease. It is a non-invasive device that patients can use in their daily environment. The device uses vibrational or sensory mechanisms to help reduce the amplitude of tremors and stabilize hand movements, thereby facilitating daily activities.

The company is also developing a mobile app called Steady Hands, designed for monitoring and objectively assessing hand tremors. The app allows users to measure tremor intensity, analyze changes over time, and provide useful data to patients and doctors.

VILIM ball and Steady Hands together form an integrated digital health solution: the device helps reduce tremor, while the app allows for symptom monitoring and evaluation of therapy effectiveness. Vilimed also places a strong emphasis on clinical trials, safety, and medical device certification, with the goal of developing reliable and innovative solutions for the management of neurological disorders.
